Technology & Christianity, Part 4

The internet is shaping our WORLDVIEW. Now, as I said earlier, A worldview is what we believe about our universe, what we believe about God, and what we think of the fallen state of humanity. And your worldview is crucial, because it is the difference between Heaven and Hell. Unfortunately, we live in a fallen world, where the Beings God created turn their back on him. The internet is full of this sort of empty, Godless existence. Most blogs, news channels, and social media pages cling to the belief that we were created by chance, we are nothing but animals, and there is nothing beyond what the eye can see. THIS IS WRONG. As I said earlier, we were made on purpose, for a purpose. As R.C. Sproul used to say: “There are no maverick molecules”. In conclusion, the overuse of the internet may be shaping your moral, political, and worldviews, and that shouldn’t happen. You need God to tell you who you are, not TikTok. Now, let me offer a simple solution to the overuse and influence of the internet. Don’t use it as much. It’s simple, and effective. Read a book instead. When is the last time you saw someone reading a book in a waiting room?

Guard your soul from impure, sinful things, and let God tell you what is right and what is wrong. Now, I will leave with a quote from Tony Reinke, author of ‘’12 Ways Your Phone is Changing 4 You’’ and  "God, Technology, and the Christian Life”. He says: “Technology makes life easier, but immaturity makes technology self-destructive.”
