Firstly, one thing must be said. The King James Only Movement is among the greatest mistakes in the history of the Church. Christians today are getting harassed, bullied, lectured, and most importantly, divided in the work of Jesus Christ because of the Bible translation they use. Does that make sense to you? It certainly does not make sense to me. There are many examples I could give where the King James translators mistranslated certain words or phrases, and there is even some slight paraphrasing in some areas. This will be dealt with in greater detail in a future article, but let me give you just one example to show you what I mean. In the book of Romans, the phrase 'God forbid!' appears many times throughout the text. But what many people don’t know is that that phrase does not appear in the original Greek. I first got acquainted with the Scroll Saga when it was recommended to me by a friend. I was skeptical at first, but once I got through the first few chapters, I couldn't put it down.
